The Cleveland Browns added a seasoned quarterback to their roster with the signing of Joe Flacco to the practice squad on Monday morning, after an outstanding workout. The decision to do this came after Flacco finished his workout. Flacco was the quarterback who guided the 2012 Super Bowl-winning Baltimore Ravens to victory. The New York Jets and the Denver Broncos are among his former teams. Having played quarterback for 14 seasons, Flacco brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Now that Cleveland’s starting quarterback Deshaun Watson is out for the rest of the season with an injury, he can lend the club his seasoned arm in their quest to make the playoffs. The Browns’ success this season may be attributed, in large part, to their top-tier defence and the fact that they have started three different quarterbacks.
